Neighborhood Improvements

The City of Chicago Aldermanic Menu Program is the funding mechanism for neighborhood improvements such as street and alley resurfacing, curb repair, traffic signals and street and alley lights.   Ald. Daley has also been able to allocate funds from this program for traffic calming measures and a number of playlot and park improvements in the 43rd Ward including the Halsted/Wisconsin Playlot and the Old Town pocket parks.  December is the time of year when the City requests the alderman's menu of improvements for the following year.  Ald. Daley seeks input from residents and community groups on improvements and repairs that are needed in the ward.  Please contact the alderman's office if you have suggestions for basic repairs or ideas for improvement projects.
